There is a stranger in our home right now. He is vaguely
familiar, but we don't quite recognize him. He calls himself "free time".

Life for us has been like life is for all missionaries. It
is crazy, hectic, stressful, sleepless, and anything but boring…until now. We
both stopped working on August first, and are taking some time to relax and
visit with some family before we cross the Ocean for a while. Holly is spending
the week with her sister in

Minnesota
while I finish up business here in

Chattanooga.

While she is gone I am realizing that she is the one who
keeps me from going crazy with boredom. I find myself just driving around town
during the day when all of my local friends are at work. I will stop and check
my email several times and check Blockbuster for anything that might be
entertaining.

I never thought I would say this, and I might regret doing
so, but I miss my crazy life! I guess we really are meant to have lives that
are full. We need Sabbath times, don't get me wrong, but too much of it makes
me feel useless.

I thank you for all of your prayers and support during these
past few weeks. You will never know how much you mean to us.
