God seems to be constantly teaching us lessons from his word, spirit, and even nature around us. But I think God uses people a lot of the time to show us about ourselves.

Now I do not think we should be comparing ourselves to other people. That can be very dangerous and the Bible warns us about doing that. I think though that God shows us qualities in people sometimes that shock us to our bones. Qualities like love, compassion, and self-sacrifice. When we see those qualities in others, we see God in them.

We have had the pleasure of getting to know some incredible missionary-to-be that are going to

Swaziland next month. Getting to know their hearts, love, and sacrifice has humbled Holly and I, and challenged us to get over ourselves and be about others…truly…about others.

So, God basically wrapped a Sunday school lesson on humility in skin and placed them in our lives.
